2012 Holocaust Speaker at CMS

On Thursday May 10th CMS 8th graders were given the opportunity to attend a once in a lifetime event! Mr. Harry Schneider, a European Holocaust survivor, spoke with our 8th graders about his story of survival, hope and perseverance during one of the darkest times in human history.

District IV Spring Conference a Great Success!!

Our 2012 District IV Spring Conference took place this past Thursday, April 12th at the Hilton Garden Inn up at Southpointe and was a tremendous success!! We had 485 students from over 20 school districts show up for a great day filled with leadership workshops, food, friends and good music!! A special thanks to Mr. Thomas Crea of the Blackhawk Consulting Group for donating his time and expertise to speak with the students on the topic of Time Management. On behalf of the CMS student council, we would like to thank everyone for a fantastic Spring Conference!

Only 1 week left!!

Only 1 week remaining to register for the 2012 PASC District 4 Spring Conference!! The conference will be held on Thursday April 12, 2012 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe. All materials, and payment, should be submitted by this coming Monday March 19th! All checks should be made payable to the CMS Activity Fund. Congratulations Fundraiser Winners!!!

Congratulations to 8th grader Lauren and 7th grader Jason for being the top sellers from our 2012 CMS Student Council Discount Card Fundraiser. Both students were rewarded with a $100 Visa gift card for their efforts! Way to go!!

Only 2 Weeks Left!!

Next Student Council Meeting!

Our next Student Council meeting will take place on Tuesday February 28th during homeroom in the cafeteria! Please wait until the announcement is made before quietly reporting to the cafeteria!!

Discount Cards Delivered!!

Our 2012 CMS Student Council Discount Card Fundraiser has come to a close. All those students who sold cards will be receiving them during homeroom this morning. Student should make sure that these cards get the individuals whose names appear on your order forms!!!
